Biography

Pierre is recorded as 5 years old at his baptism in St-Sulpice, Quebec. He was probably born in Massachusetts where his parents were deported to in the Acadian expulsion.

Pierre, son of Sylvain Dupuis and Francoise Leblanc acadiens and with a given age of five and a half years, was baptized 9 Aug 1767 in the parish of Saint-Sulpice, Province de Québec. [1]

Pierre Dupuis, adult son of the late Silvain Dupuis and Francoise Leblanc, and Genevieve Lanoue, adult daughter of the late Francois Lanoue and Genevieve Clouatre, were married 21 Feb 1814 in the parish of Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie, L'Acadie, Bas-Canada. [2]

Pierre Dupuis, widower of the late Genevieve Lanoux and with a given age of sixty-four years, died 18 Dec 1823 and was buried 20 Dec 1823 in the cemetery of Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie, L'Acadie, Bas-Canada. [4]

Pierre Dupuis married Geneviève Lanoue on 21 Feb 1814 in L'Acadie (QC).[5]
