I was born in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, to Laurence Eugene & Eleanor Brown Fagerstrom. I grew up in Theodore, Mobile County, Alabama, and married in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, Army Infantryman and lived in West Germany and Turkey for a combined 10 years. We had two boys during two separate tours of duty in Germany. I was employed by the Department of the Army in both the U.S. and Turkey for a combined 30 years and retired in 2014.
My grandparents are Daniel Lawrence & Nollie Adelia Bell Fagerstrom, and Aldrich Monroe & Susie (aka Susan) Amelia Anderson Brown. Their parents were: John & Kate (aka Katherine) O'Leary Fagerstrom, and John & Lena Prentiss (aka Prenest) Rodgers Bell; Nicholas & Eliza Brown Slavich, and Obediah Benjamin Dumas & Caroline Eleanor (aka Ellen) Rogers Anderson.
