Joseph Gedney, Phillipsburg. Provides for wife Martha and leaves all estate to eldest son Absalom. Witnesses, Reuben Arnold Gabriel Bloomer May I, 1782. Proved May 20, 1783. Westchester NY Wills page 354 [1]

supposed two of their daughters: " Robert Sutton b 1731 married Pheby Gedney license in NY on 4 Nov 1758. These marriages are within google books - Names of Persons for Whom Marriage Licenses Were Issued by the Secretary of ...By New York (State). Their son William Sutton b 1733 married Tamar Gedney 9 April 1757 again by NY License. Phebe and Tamar were daughters of Joseph Gedney and Martha Hewes."
