According to a genealogist in Texas letter dated 1897 he believed Benjamin died at Keekamoochaug according to Daniel’s History. Wrote letter to Sudbury wanting Benjamin’s birth. Said his parents were Joseph Chamberlain and Hannah Gilbert. This paper is scanned and online and comes up as a document at familysearch. But the marriage of Joseph Chamberlain was not to Gilbert. This was misread. The name looks more like either Gibbon or Gibson.
Gilbert-3286 and Gilbert-2247 do not represent the same person because: The birth date is off two years. The death date is 39 years off. This does not appear to be a match.
