Mrs. Charles Eggins, of Cundle, Manning River, died on Saturday, aged 70, leaving a husband, two daughters, one son and numerous relatives on the North Coast. The son is Mr. Charles Eggins, school teacher at Lower Lawrence.^[5]

Mrs. C. Eggins, of Cundle, died on Saturday morning, aged 70 years. The deceased lady was born at Bolwarra, near Maitland, and came to the Manning 60 years ago. The funeral took place on Sunday at the Dawson Cemetery, the Rev. Mowbray officiating before a large concourse of mourners.^[6]
