Hélène Godin was born about 1737 in Riviere St. Jean, as is stated in her marriage to Jean Baptiste Martin. [1] Her parents were Jacques Philippe Godin & Anne Marie Bergeron. [2]. The family was found on the 1739 census near Ekoupag, Riviere St. Jean. She would have been one of the four children[3].

She passed away on 10 Jan 1770 in Isle d'Orleans, Province of Québec at around age 34. [7]
