DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Hans by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Hans:

Hey all,

In order to improve this profile and untangle the conflated family, I hereby suggest a revised Biography. I put together a little Free Space Page for the Problem, to show how it could look like. PLEASE have a look and get in contact for questions and/or objections. I would like to have the approval of the PMs.

Bischwiller is in France, near the German border.

Alsace-Lorraine (Elsaß-Lothringen) did not exist in 1762 when he died. The area was part of France until annexed in 1871. (I am wary of research that claims documented evidence using that location at that date.)

Hanß is the same spelling as Hanss in German and not a correct spelling of Hans. It just looks more German. ß=ss.

Hans was a nickname for Johannes.
