Although some online trees also show a marriage to George Colton, he married Mary Hitchcock, not Mercy.

"Mercy, the Daughter of Luke & Sarah "Hitchcocke" was borne Febr: 1st: 1681" in Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts[1][2]
The Intentions for the marriage "Marcy Hitchcocke" and Ebenezer Day were published on 9 March 1699/1700 at Springfield, and they were married on 18 April 1700 at Springfield.[3][4])
They had at least the following children, recorded at Springfield:[5]
