Amos Hosmer was born at Concord, Massachusetts on June 18, 1734, son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Hosmer. [1][2]
He married Lucy Meriam on November 22, 1776 at Concord. Lucy was born at Concord on August 7, 1749, daughter of Nathan Meriam and Abigail Wheeler. [1][3]
From 1780 to 1803, Amos Hosmer was on the tax list at New Ipswich, New Hampshire. [2]
Lucy died at age 54 in Concord on February 23, 1804. [1][2]
After her death, Amos married second on April 11, 1806, Sarah Hosmer. [1][2]
Lt. Amos Hosmer died at Concord on November 2, 1810. [1]
His widow Sarah died there on August 10, 1820, at the age of 73. [1]
Military
Lieutenant Amos Hosmer served with Middlesex County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
He was a soldier in the French War and in 1757, in the Crown Point Expedition. [2]
