Jean Baptiste Houallet was born on 1 Feb 1704 and baptized on 4 Mar in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish of Rivière-Ouelle, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His parents were Mathurin Ouellet and Angélique Lebel. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Nicolas Lebel and Marie Anne Houallet. The officiating priest was J. Bernard De Requeleyne.[1]

Marriage
Jean Baptiste Ouellet married Marie Geneviève Tardif, daughter of Charles Tardif and Geneviève Roy, on 10 Jan 1735 in Saint-Louis parish of Kamouraska. In the presence of known witnesses Augustin Ouellet, Jacques Migneau and Joseph Michaud. The celebrant priest was Auclair.[2]

The couple had 13 children verified by PRDH.

Death and Burial
Jean Baptiste Ouellet dit de Paincour was buried on 6 Dec 1780 in Saint-Louis parish cemetery of Kamouraska, Province de Québec. The record giving him the age of around around 75 years. His exact date of death is not mentioned in the burial record.[3]
