== Biography ==with apologies to Governor Price Daniels:
MaryJo Key-Flowers was born on May 19, 1948, in Liberty, Liberty, Texas. Liberty is about 60 miles northeast of Houston, Texas. Her biological mother, Frances Beretta Key, was unmarried and her biological father, Stanley Milton Flowers wasn't in the picture at all. MaryJo was adopted at birth by a couple from Houston, Texas, Joe Boy Moffett and Alice Elizabeth Shone. MaryJo led a privileged life in Houston but always wondered about her bio-family roots back in Liberty. When her adoptive mother and aunt told MaryJo her "adoption story" it was always that Frances Key wasn't married and she gave MaryJo up for adoption to give her a better life. It was speculated that Frances might have been involved with a married man there in Liberty. MaryJo her mother and aunt always laughed and said that Texas Governor, Price Daniels, (who was also from Liberty) was her father! This joke turned out NOT to be the facts of her birth though! Yes, Frances wasn't married but MaryJo's biological father may never have lived in or near Liberty, Texas. Stanley Milton Flowers was born in Jones County, Mississippi.
A very helpful DNA match (1st cousin once removed) who tested with Ancestry.com was MaryJo's key to unlocking the mystery about the charming cad, Stanley Milton Flowers. The Flowers family were surprised about the location of MaryJo's birth since no one in the family who was still alive (It was 2014) really knew why or when he might have visited Liberty, Texas. They knew he had lived for a time in Marianna, Arkansas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and that he lived the last 24 years of his life in Billings, Montana. MaryJo found The 1940 census that was enumerated on April 8, 1940 with Stanley and wife #2 (Fannie Mae) living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. However, when she found Stanley's WWII Draft Card, dated October 16, 1940, he and Fannie Mae were living in San Antonio, Texas. All we know for sure is DNA tells us that some hot Texas day in August of 1947, he spent some time with Frances Beretta Key. Nine months later, MaryJo was born.
1940 US Census enumerated April 8, 1940 WWII Draft Registration Card dated Oct 16, 1940

I am a WikiTree DNA Project Volunteer Helper. I wanted to let you know that when you post DNA test information on a WikiTree profile, WikiTree needs to be able to see the profile Family Tree Tab (top of WikiTree Profile) to make DNA connections down the ancestral lines.
I would like to suggest that you consider changing the privacy level on this profile and all of the ancestors to be at a level that allows everyone to see the Family Tree tab. Click the "Privacy" tab and set your level to "Private with public tree" or "Private with public biography and tree". For further information on the available Privacy levels needed to facilitate this, please see: Wikitree privacy controls
Thank you, Meghan
Just checking in with a few quick tips
Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".
Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

We don't actually upload the test results, we just type in the information about the tests we have taken. Go to http://www.wikitree.com/treewidget/Key-1354/89. Click the DNA Tests tab and add the information to Add A New Test. You will do this once for the Ancestry test and again for the 23andme test. As you add people to your Family Tree tab, the DNA connections will start to appear. Please read through our DNA Project page for more information: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:DNA and let me know if I can be of further assistance. Welcome to WikiTree!
