Paul "Polet" Leblanc was born about 1711 likely in Port Royal. All his siblings were born there and he was married there in 1732. He was the son of Pierre LeBlanc and Madeleine Bourg. "He was born during the captivity of the pastor of Port-Royal in Boston in 1711. Consequently, it is impossible to find his baptismal record." [1]
They were deported to Massachusetts during the Grand Dérangement. In 1763 , Paul, his wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters were on a list of French Neutrals who desired to go to old France. [3] "They reached Quebec City in 1767, and in 1770 settled at Nicolet, Quebec. Three sons pioneered resettlement of Memramcook, New Brunswick." [1][4]
Paul died in March 1773 and was buried on 13 March 1773 in Bécancour, Province de Québec, now governed by the English. [5] The date of death was omitted in the register. It was noted that he was from the small village of Godefroy, and was about 60 years of age.

Le Blanc-11010 and LeBlanc-11115 appear to represent the same person because: Same year of birth, same name, same spouse and son Bonaventure. Merging into LeBlanc-1115 which is the standard spelling (with capital B, no space) used by Acadians Project.
The Paul LeBlanc who married Marie Josephe Richard was son of Pierre LeBlanc and Madeleine Bourg. I changed the parents to those but then got confused and changed them back. My apologies, one more change coming up. Then I'll deal with the other Paul Leblanc who has the correct birthdate and wrong parents.
Madeleine Bourg was my 7X great grandmother. Being new to Wikitree, I am still learning the best way to communicate.
Over 40 years research I have completed my Acadian Ancestry.
I have about 900+ direct ancestors recorded, which is on my Legacy program and online at Ancestry.
For those who have access and are interested, my public tree is "Porelle Family Tree" by me "cajun1000".
While Wikitree is generally excellent with many primary sources cited, over the last few months I have come across numerous errors or omissions. I don't have time to comment on every one, but have decided to point out certain entries that will lead serious genealogists astray. My primary source for my research is of course the DGFA by Stephen A. White. (have my own copy)
Many years ago he impressed on me the crucial imperative to cite all sources or the information becomes almost useless. To that end, my Ancestry Family Tree uses every primary document and image available.

Thank you so much Yvon for caring about our Acadian ancestors and accuracy. All the Acadian Project leaders have access to the DGFA and even to some of the profiles from the draft version. We are very much committed to being the very best website for Acadian profiles. We work on this every single day, but it is a monumental task. We make steady progress and are very interested in knowing about any discrepancies or errors. Anytime you see something, please say something, even if it's a very short alert on the profile when you can't go into a deeper explanation. Acadian project members monitor these messages daily.
Based on the baptism record (21 Feb 1711, Saint-Charles-les-Mines, Grand Pré), his date of birth should be 20 Feb 1711, not 28 Feb 1711. The reference to a March baptism I believe is a mis-reading of the text in the record "a été baptisé le 21 DANS l'église..." not "21 mars l'église...".
