Marie-Josèphe Richard was born and baptized on 9 June 1713. [1] Her parents were René Richard and Marguerite Thériot. Her godparents were Charles Girouard and Jeanne Dupuis.
They were deported to Massachusetts during the Grand Dérangement. In 1763 , Paul, his wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters were on a list of French Neutrals who desired to go to old France. [3][4] "They reached Quebec City in 1767, and in 1770 settled at Nicolet, Quebec. Three sons pioneered resettlement of Memramcook, New Brunswick." [5]
She passed away on 1 June 1795 and was buried the next day in Nicolet. [6]
