We are retiring the "french_roots" G2G tag, so you will want to change it to "france". Please check this out: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/846021/french-roots-becomes-the-france-project

Thanks for becoming pre-1700 certified. Now that you will be working on older profiles you will find yourself collaborating more with others. The best way to do this is by joining a project. I see you have ancestors from France. Have a look at the French Roots Project, and see what you think. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
Thanks, Susie :-)
Letcher-20 is a woman. Can't be your grand father :)
How is it going so far. Was the first page of the How-Tos helpful or did it leave you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful or left you with any questions?
I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

I recommend starting with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you create your family profiles. If the link doesn't work in your e-mail, you can find it in the public comments on your profile page.
Need help? Just ask!
Above all, have FUN! :) I hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have!
Kind regards,
Vicky Majewski ~ WikiTree Greeter & Member since August 2015
Thank you for offering to volunteer with Wikitree! We love new members.
Our Tags and Comments help you connect with other genealogists and they help us protect our SHARED family tree from spammers. That's why the more information you can enter, the better it is for all of us :-)
Would you provide a little more information about your genealogical interests in your Tags and Comments section please? What surnames, locations, or moments in history are you researching?
Follow this link to get to your tag(s): https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following
Have a look at my profile page by clicking my name above to see what tags and tag comments look like.
Thank you, David ~ WikiTree Greeter
Welcome to WikiTree! Were really glad youre here.
The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as one collaborative team.
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way.
Welcome to the family!
Carole
P.S. I'm always happy to answer questions.
