Thank you everyone for contributing to my tree, I'm confident that I have my mother's side correct. However my father's Penny side I'm not 100% confident on . My granny's Stewart/Mcilvenna side is mostly correct but please any help is very welcome 😁

Hi Susie

Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to continue adding sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. If you have exhausted what you know on one line, try a different one. 24 hours after you connect to an existing profile, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear.

Let me know if you have any questions and have fun!

One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Hi, Thanks, I tried uploading my tree but it was too big so I’ve decided to restart from scratch minus all the random people I had added.

I did the same with mine and have improved my research in the process.

It also gives you much more opportunity to find freely accessible sources

Have fun Wendy

Welcome Susie

I am pleased to confirm and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site

Happy tree climbing
