Hi Greg. Sorry I didn't get back to you in 2022, but I had some health issues. All better now!
I don't think your Neary line is closely related to mine-maybe distant? Your Tom & Sally relatives settled in Pennsylvania, right? We are related to the McAndrews family...but that's where I see it end. Best of luck- Terri Burbank
Just seen your post on Wikitree, when i was living back in Ireland in the early 90's i had a crack at the family history and found the following Baptism records that may be of interest to you as i suspect i am relating to this line:
Date 23/09/1860, Michael Nary, Parents Tom Nary and Sally Lynsh, Godparents Michael Riely and Mary Riely
Date 18/05/1862, Anthony Nary, Parents Thos Nary & Sarah Lynch, Godparents John Scanlon & Margerett Manmore
Date 16/08/1863, Thos Nary, Parents Tom Nary & Sarah Lynch, Godparents John McAndrew & Cath McAndrew
No address was given.
Regards
Greg Neary
Hello Terri. I am wondering if you have seen the category I created called, Uigg, Queens County for PEI people from there. I also have McLeod ancestors who lived there although I don't think there is any relation with yours. You can find mine in the category http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Uigg%2C_Queens_County. They lived on the Murray Harbour Road.
Hope the family tree hunt is going well. I have been looking at this site for a while, and decided to add my dna to see what I could find. Hope all is well
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free-Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a Unresponsive Profile Managers for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. Shayne ~ WikiTree Mentor
