Hey Steve,

Can you please let me know if you are still able and wiling to update your profiles? If not, that is ok as well, but I will then request WikiTree to remove you as profile manager from those profiles, so other can chime in and add sources and change the LNABs on some of them.

Hi Steve

Congratulations on your Pre-1700 Self-Certification! Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Or you're interested in a particular time period, location, or topic ? Let me know. I can help you figure out if any Projects fit your interests and introduce you to the Leaders.

Projects are a great way to collaborate on your ancestors' profiles and learn the naming conventions and other standards used for profiles from particular places and time periods.

Have you read Research Before Editing? The Sources Style Guide is also essential reading for working on pre-1700 profiles.

Have fun

Maryann ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Steve,

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

I am glad to hear you are interested in learning more about your family history. Are you planning on contributing to our Wikitree and adding your own research or are you wanting to search and use the forum? You are more than welcome to do so, it is free, and you don’t have to become a volunteer. If you want to contribute as well, please leave us another message and we can then make you a full member. As indicated above, if you just want to use our forums and search around then you can do that as a guest. One of our volunteers will be happy to make you a full member if you post again. Thanks for using WikiTree to grow your family tree. Chere Lee, Volunteer Greeter
