James Patrick McCormick was born on August 17, 1901 in Portlee, Randalstown, Drummaul, County Antrim, Ireland. He was the son of Henry McCormick and Sarah Cushnan. [1]
In 1911 he was living with his parents, siblings and his uncle John Cushinan on Pinkerton Street in the Dock Ward of Antrim, near Belfast. He was 9 years old and a scholar. [2]
He immigrated to the United States in about 1927 and a few years later James married Sarah Gray on 3 Aug 1930 in The Bronx, New York, United States. [3] The couple had 11 children.
James Patrick McCormick died on January 24, 1963 at 2 Holmdene Gardens in Belfast, Northern Ireland at the age of 61 years. [4]
