Or more specifically: Some for-profit companies make it super easy for people to adopt incorrect data in their family tree. People are happy, they post it, and others happily copy it. Eventually, everyone's repeating the same thing - despite being utterly incorrect.

I'm dealing with several of these and believe in ACTUAL SOURCES. Someone else's tree isn't a real source. Records are a source.
