Hi Philip,

Congratulations, you have now been a WikiTree member for two months! Here are a few ways to dive in even deeper:

  • WikiTree is active on several Social Media Sites. Check out our blog where you'll find a monthly newsletter along with tips, interviews, and guest posts from people in the larger genealogy community.

Let me know if I can be of help.

Hey Phillip,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Questions? Ask via my profile page. Mags

Welcome to our community, Philip. Thanks for volunteering to help grow our worldwide tree. I was raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. :)

Our Honor Code, G2G forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

Please consider stopping by the Tree House to introduce yourself.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

I am looking forward to working with this web-site. My family search began in the 1970's before there was web-sites such as WikiTree.

Personal searches are in Iowa, Pennsylvania, New York and the New England states.
