John was born in 1766. He was the son of Jesse Miller and Elizabeth Walton. He passed away in 1825.

Why I connected this John Miller as husband of Sally Jordan

Other connected members of his family seemed to have married in Goochland Co., VA or adjoining counties. However his 1st wife, Hannah Armistead is noted as still living at the time of the John Miller's marriage to Sally Jordan; so these maybe two separate John Millers. 6 percent to 7 percent of men during this time period given names were John; so difficult to sort out John Millers. Below is the source of John Miller's marriage to Sally Jordan as well as other Miller men's marriages in Goochland Co., VA around this time period (1772-1800) which likely indicates most if not all these Miller men were related.
