Descendant Mary Miller Cheney 1901 Tippecanoe, Indiana-1981 Franklin, Clinton, Indiana married Walter Linn Spencer 1897-1957 (graduate of Purdue University); filed and accepted DAR through ancestor William Cheney 1717-1775, killed at Battle of Bunker Hill.

Miller-76278 and Miller-16254 appear to represent the same person because: Miller-76278 and Miller-16254 have the same parents and siblings, both born in Connecticut, both married a Mr. Spencer. Death dates are off, but Miller-16254 says she died AFTER 14 Apr 1746, so 1779 could be correct.

Joan, what is the primary source documentation for her parentage. There is a TAG article by Jacobus cited below which states she is Mary Unknown. I see mention on the profile for Benjamin Miller of a daughter Mary who married a Mr Spencer of Haddam. What shows us that this is John Spencer?

Mary's surname is unknown per Jacobus. Have marked the father as uncertain and it should actually be detached.
