DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Miller-76278 and Miller-16254 appear to represent the same person because: Miller-76278 and Miller-16254 have the same parents and siblings, both born in Connecticut, both married a Mr. Spencer. Death dates are off, but Miller-16254 says she died AFTER 14 Apr 1746, so 1779 could be correct.
Joan, what is the primary source documentation for her parentage. There is a TAG article by Jacobus cited below which states she is Mary Unknown. I see mention on the profile for Benjamin Miller of a daughter Mary who married a Mr Spencer of Haddam. What shows us that this is John Spencer?
Mary's surname is unknown per Jacobus. Have marked the father as uncertain and it should actually be detached.
