Biography

Joshua Morton was born about 1800 in South Carolina to Marshall and Winnie Morton.

He married Edith Bynum.[1] Their children were Daniel, Serena and Elijah.

He married Nancy Lawson in 1836.[2] Their children were William, John, Eliza, Rhoda, Winnie, and Sarah.

He died after 1860 in Alabama.

Morton-1196 and Morton-112 appear to represent the same person because: Parents match. Even tho the Morton and Allied families have a different wife at a later date, there is no other evidence these are two different people.
