Allen was born in 1836 in Alabama. He was the son of Jeremiah Morton and Winnie Easley.
He married Martha Coffelt. Their children were Amanda, Henry, Grant, Elijah, Frannie, Winnie and Levi.
He died in 1882 near Mint Hill, Missouri. He is buried at Shirley Cemetery in Osage County, Missouri.[1]

They share 89 cM over 3 segment with 1.19% of their DNA in common. LM matched to BM, a gg-grandson of David Jeff Morton. They are 3C1R. They share .86% of their DNA on 65 cM on 5 segments. The triangulated match is on chr. 6, 53396896-81784903. There is also a small segment on chr. 22 that overlaps for the three mentioned here plus several others whose lineage has not been explored. DK and BM are 4C to each other. MCRA are Jeremiah Morton and Winnie Easley.
