He served as a Private for the CSA during the Civil War, enlisting May 1, 1862; he was transferred to Company H, 47th Georgia Infantry May 12, 1862. He was captured at Missionary Ridge, Tennessee, November 25, 1863. Transferred from Rock Island, Illinois, to Point Lookout, Maryland, February 1865, and then to James River, Virginia, February 15, 1865. He was again captured at Richmond, Virginia, April 3, 1865. In Jackson Hospital at Richmond, Virginia, May 28, 1865[3].

Andrew Marshal "Martin" Mosley was one of the children Martin and Emily had. Not sure how how many others. Still looking for more info. He married Eliza Turner Mosley. They are husbands great-great Grandparetns! :)
