George Washington Pack Sr. and Samuel Augustus Pack are brothers and is my grandparental lineage who both fought in Dunsmore Rev War in Virginia. They are not twins but both have the birth year as 1755. FYI What I had was actually readable and in order with accurate sources. Family surely doesn't mess up their grandparental heritages. Also George married the Brown Sisters after the first sister, Mary Christina, died.

Military

"Samuel Pack, Jr. and his brother, George, were soldiers in the militia prior to the Revolutionary War. They enlisted at Fincastle County and fought under Captain James Robertson at Fort Fincastle, later renamed Fort Henry above Wheeling Creek. This was Lord Dunmore's War of 1774. Inscription on Headstone, PVT Capt Patients Company Dunsmore War Rev War 1755 1825. George Pack was in Captain patton's Company, enlisted Oct 1 1777.

George Pack was born in 1755 in Montgomery [1] County, Virginia to Samuel Augustus Pack, Sr and Emmeline G (Grubb) Pack.

He married Mary Christiana (Brown) Pack in 1778 in Monroe, Amherst, Virginia (West Virginia.) On December 20, 1799 George married his first wife's sister Elizabeth Sheppard (Brown) Pack in Union, Monroe County, VA (now WV). [2]

In 1810 George and his family lived in Giles, Virginia. [3]

In 1820 George lived with his family in Floyd, Kentucky.[4]

George Pack died on March 4, 1825 in Georges Creek, Lawrence, Kentucky, USA[1]

Additional Information

George was the paternal fourth great-grandfather of Naomi Judd and the maternal fifth great-grandfather of Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd.
