Hello, I just found this site and have been looking into a little. I am on Ancestry.com and have over 300 names listed. I'm trying to make the leap across the Atlantic with my family. I've got all lines done back to their immigration. but now I want to move across the pond and see where the story brings me. I seem to trace my self to Russia, Kiev, Warszawa. but I don't know the correct names to look for. That's my next goal to explore.
I was on Family Tree maker for a few years, but that was 15 yrs ago. I have some free time so I;'m going to try and get further back.
Thanks
steve

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
