Disputed Associations
In 1947, Thomas Allen Perkins called Jacob Perkins' first wife, Elizabeth Lovell, daughter of Thomas Lovell.[1] These associations found their way to Edmund West's Family Data Collection (see references, Our Family History), and the claim has been widely shared. This Perkins-Lovell marriage was not followed by Robert Charles Anderson (1995), who calls Jacob's wife Elizabeth _____.[2]
Elizabeth Lovell's association as Jacob's wife was disputed by WikiTree collaborators; his wife could not have been this Elizabeth Lovell, see Research Notes. Elizabeth's association as the wife of Jacob Perkins and mother to his children was severed in 2021.
