Josiah was born in 1744. He was the son of Job Potter and Meribah Card. Mentioned as son to Job Potter and executor of his father's will in 1766. Also executor to brother Elisha will in 1777. Marriage to Mercy Manchester on 9 Feb 1769, Cranston, Providence, Rhode Island, United States. A known son, Henry Potter 1784-1830.
