Hi Diane,

Thanks self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Collaboration with Pre-1700 Project members is essential for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because those ancestors are usually shared by many descendants.

It looks like the United States Project would be a good fit based on your branch of WikiTree. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Hi Diane, the links to your sets of twins in your bio aren't working. From what it looks like, you've added a / after the wiki-ID. It should be wiki-ID|name of person inside double brackets

Hello Diane,

Thank you for volunteering!

You are now a member of the WikiTree community. I hope your experience here will be as enjoyable and interesting as mine has been.

Start with the New Member How-To pages — they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around.

When you are ready, take a look at projects, there may be a project for your surnames or research location(s).

Take your time, and let me know if you need any help using the site. If you have any questions, click reply below this message and I will get back to you.

Peggy ~ WikiTree Greeter

P.S. If you get error messages when you click links from WikiTree emails, try the links from your profile page.

Hello Emma.

I think I did so correctly. Awaiting volunteer status. Thanks, Diane

Yep, you're good to go, Diane! You should have received a trusted list request from me in your email (check your spam folder if you don't see it). Once I'm on the trusted list, I can get started.

Emma

Hi Diane,

In order for me to start adding your family, you will need to move from guest to volunteer status.

To volunteer, go to your "My WikiTree" tab at the top right of your screen. Then click on NAV Home Page. It will give you instructions on completing tags. Enter any surnames, locations or events you are interested in. Then be sure to click the Volunteer button at the bottom. A greeter will then confirm your membership. Then I can add family.

Emma aka Sunshine

Welcome!

This is just a note to say hello and to let you know that I'm available to answer questions about joining WikiTree.

To contact me, click the link to my name above, then send a private message or post a comment on my profile page.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Greeter

P.S. If you did not receive a notice to confirm your email, check your spam folder or use this link to request a new one. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
