If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Glad to hear you are interested in learning more about your family history. Are you planning on contributing to our Wikitree and adding your own research or are you wanting to search and use the forum? You are more than welcome to do so, it is free, and you don’t have to become a volunteer.

If you want to contribute as well, please leave us another message and we can then make you a full member. As indicated above, if you just want to use our forums and search around then you can do that as a guest :)

One of our volunteers will be happy to make you a full member if you post again.

i am an african american female in search of both sides of my family tree .i am on ancestry but i cant always pay that fee so im hoping to find at least some of my family anf my history here its very hard when a major part of my history i assume are sitting slave registries . so im here to search
