Biography

Ancestor of Henry Lee, General of Cavalry in the Revolution, and his son Robert E. Lee.

Elizabeth Randolph was born in 1680 at Varina, Henrico county, Virginia. She was the daughter of William Randolph and Mary Isham.

February 11, 1702 -- Elizabeth Randolph and Richard Bland, Sr. married at Varina, Henrico county, Virginia.

January 22, 1720 -- Elizabeth Randolph Bland died at Jordan's Point Plantation, Prince George county, Virginia.

This portrait is NOT of the Elizabeth Randolph who was the daughter of William Randolph of Turkey Island and who married Richard Bland (1665 - 1720). The woman in this portrait is actually the wife of Peyton Randolph and her maiden surname was Harrison.
