Biography

Born in Rochester, Strafford, New Hampshire, United States I have lived in Maine all my life. My two brothers, William and James, now deceased, were born in Minnesota, as were my parents. Their names were doctor Reben Mcguigan Rich, and Cora Josephine Sheldon. Originally their relatives lived in Maine also. I am descendant of Aneurian Henry 1869, John L 1840 , John S 1802, Samuel S 1766, Ezekiel 1738, Lemuel, 1711, Samuel, 1685, and Richard, 1637.

Thanks cousin.I would be pretty embarrassed if my mom was tougher than me! Less than ten years ago ( before I got Here,After my step dad died ) She was over 70 and still carrying a ladder around to climb up and patch the roof.THAT is tough

James you are one tough cookie! Glad everything is ok, well except for hearing, balance, etc. could be the rich side, my brother and dad both had appendicitis, dad almost died, he got peritonitis, billy drove himself to the hospital and collapsed in the elevator. Anyway, welcome back. Cuz Marion

You are most welcome dear cousin.in 2 years I will deal with 60 so I know the feeling.My mom turned 80 this year she is well and tough as nails.The Rich family all are.The surgery went well I had a tumor in my head they did brain surgery and removed it on 8-21 I had to get out of that darn hospital. I made them let me go home on the 23rd i am fine lost the hearing and balance nerves on the right side.No more hearing on that side. No big deal I will adjust. it will take a long time but at least i am still kicking.Not as hard as I used to but hey I woke up again to day that is all I can ask for. :)
