Hi Amanda, there's a merge pending on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Coleman-6505 that needs your approval. Could you take a moment to investigate it? Thanks!

Amanda: Please add the parents of Douglas-4916. Father is Douglas-2047 and mother is Boyd-11926. You might also remove the PP.

Thank you, Stevenson

Cope-1284 and Cope-2069 are not ready to be merged because: though they have a similar birthdate, there is not enough information on Cope-1284 to confirm it is the same person. More research needs to be done on 1284. A similar birthdate isn't enough. We have to have more information. It is entirely possible for many people of the same name to have been born at or around the same time.
My Great grandfather was Samuel Rountree. My great grandmother was Margaret Murphy. They lived in Lauderdale, Alabama. Looking for someone who knows about this family. My grandfather was Charles Timmons Rountree "Charlie". I am looking for a family last name of Timmons as I believe his middle name was from a family relative.
Samuel Rountree was married to Margaret Murphy October 1882 Lauderdale Co., Alabama. He was the son of Samuel F. Rountree (1817 Frances - 1855/60) and his 2nd wife, Eliza Ann SMITH. I descend from Eliza Ann Smith and her 2nd husband, Francis Marion Ledbetter who she married on January 18, 1869 Lauderdale Co., Alabama. Francis died 1872/80 while Eliza died 1880/85 Lauderdale Co., Alabama. The two Ledbetter children, Eliza Ann Ledbetter and William Marion Ledbetter went to live with their Uncle Henry Harrison Ledbetter in McNairy Co., TN. Eliza Ann Ledbetter (my gt grandmother) married Granville Lafayette Vinson and They migrated to Navarro Co., Texas. My own mother, Venetia Davis was born in 1927 in Kerens, Navarro Co., Texas. I'm trying to find out when and where Sam uel 'Sam' Rountree passed away and wehre he is buried? Any help appreciated.

Hi Amanda,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Also, check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!

Hi, Amanda --

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
