As far as I can tell this Robert Savage was the Robert Savage, possibly the son of John Savage who participated in the raid of Lecale in 1470 accompanying the Seneschal of Ulster, Roland "Janico" Savage as well as participating in the siege of Belfast Castle in 1486 in the company of Feilim O'Neill. In any case this Robert Savage would have had no direct link to the parents listed since he was clearly a close relative of the senior line of the Ulster Savages who, by this time had been in Ireland for over three centuries. (Source: The Savages in Ulster, G.F. Savage Armstrong, Chiswick Press 1906 p80). I am convinced this profile should be disconnected from the parents listed but I do not have pre-1500 editing privileges.
I don't think this Robert Savage was a child of the parents listed. Rather he was a lineal descendent of William le Savage (1150 - 1220) whose line became Lords of Ards in Co Down Ireland.
Death in 1492; in Boulogne, Hauts-de-Seine, Ile-de-France, France is also that sourced & recorded for Sir John Savage - see 'The Chronicle of Calais' by Richard Turpyn
