Biography

Frances Taylor was born about January 26, 1715/16 in St. James Parish, New Kent County, Virginia Colony, British America, the daughter of James Taylor and Elizabeth (UNKNOWN) Taylor. [1] She was the sister of Mary Taylor, William Taylor, George Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor and Susanna Taylor

Frances married William Stone, the son of John Stone and Mary (O'Brissell) Stone, about 1736 in New Kent County, Virginia Colony, British America. Their first recorded daughter, Elizabeth Stone, was born 18 May 1737 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent County, Virginia Colony.[2] They had at least the following known children:

  1. Hezekiah Stone,
  2. Marbec Stone,
  3. Thomas Stone,
  4. William Stone,
  5. Elijah Stone,
  6. Caleb Stone,
  7. Elizabeth Stone,[3]
  8. Elijah Stone,
  9. Tabitha (Stone) Manley and
  10. Marbel Stone

Frances died on June 5, 1792 in Fluvanna County, Virginia, United States.
