Forever for living Descents. I understand my immigration 1638 research can be public space profile without breaking my promise to living people. The same privacy promise, I gave as a Federal censuses records : Were you Counted Federal censuses records.

You should have received a copy of your private e-mail. I would recommend that your post it in G2G, linked from the most appropriate profile.
WikiTree is a single, global tree. If a person has more than one profile, we collaborate to merge them, since each person only gets one profile. When there is confusion or disputes, sources are key.

You asked where to start - I would recommend that you start by building your tree (adding parents, grands, etc.). I think there may be a limit to how many profiles you can created before signing the Honor Code, so if you get blocked while building your tree, signing the Honor Code should resolve it. If you haven't gone through the New Member How-Tos yet, I highly recommend them - see Category: New Member How-To.
