Living with sisters Elizabeth, Mary & parents in 1841 in Hill Top, Knottingley, Yorkshire. [2]

The marriage of Joseph Thorp & Mary Ann Hopkins was conducted on 4 December 1853 Headingley, St. Michael, Yorkshire. [3]

With wife Mary & children in 1871 living in Oxford Street, Castleford, Yorkshire. He worked as an agricultural labourer. [4]

A labourer working in glassworks in 1891 living in Temple Street, Castleford, Yorkshire with xhildren. [5]

Thorp-846 and Thorp-898 are not the same person according to their baptism records.

It needs to be determined which one married Mary Ann (Hopkins) Thorp and which one died on 10 Dec 1908

Found this baptism record indicating his parents as George and Frances
