George Tibbitt(s) married Mehitable Betts as one of her three husbands Samuel Hitchcock and Louis Vitrey or Vittery as per New England Marriages Prior to 1700. Louis died about March 1676 as per NY Wills noted below. ^[1]

George Tippet, died in 1691, in Westchester county, New York, and his wife, Mehitable (Betts) Tippet. He remembers in his Will both "Mehetabel wife of Joseph Hadley" and her brother, George. ^[4]
