Biography

Mary Tilden, daughter of Stephen Tilden and Hannah Little, was born in Scituate, Plymouth Colony on 7 April 1668.[1]

She married James Thomas on 03 January 1692/3 in Duxbury, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[2]

She died in Lebanon, Connecticut Colony, 1 February 1740 in her 74th year.[3]


Mary Tilden and James Thomas had the following children born in Duxbury:[4]

  1. Mary Thomas, b. 17 Sept. 1693
  2. James Thomas, b. 10 Feb. 1696
  3. Hannah Thomas, b. 30 Aug. 1698
  4. John Thomas, b. 4 Nov. 1700
  5. Ebenezer Thomas, b. 30 Sept. 1703
  6. Ezekiel Thomas, b. 29 Oct. 1706
  7. Peleg Thomas, apparently d. bef. 10 Nov. 1732 without issue (not in deed). No Plymouth Co. PR.[5]
