Eleanor Unknown was born about 1691 or 1695.[citation needed]
Thomas Loftin and Eleanor married about 1711 or 1712 in Maryland.[citation needed]
Her husband died after 5 September 1751 and before 12 November 1751 in Frederick County, Virginia. Eleanor is named in his Will.[1]
She passed away about 1752.[citation needed]

Transcript I, Thomas Loftin of the County of Frederick and Colony of Virginia being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain his my last will and Testament and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. Imprimis: I give and bequeath to my son Zekiel Loftin seven shillings and that he shall claim no part nor parcel of m estate neither real or personal. Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Ward a young heifer to be paid her this fall and that she shall demand no part nor parcel of my present estate neither real nor personal. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Teague seven shillings and that she shall have no other part nor parcel of m estate real nor personal. Item: I give to my daughter Hannah Lewis seven shillings and my will is that she shall have no other part of my estate. Item: I give to my son John Loftin the hundred and forty acres of land which I took up on the Sugar Tree Hollow adjoining to Mr. George Johnston to him and his heirs forever and my will is that my son William Loftin have the care of my son John. Item: I give to my loving wife Hellenor Loftin all my personal estate during her life that is to say the sue of is and after her decease to be equally divided between my sons William Loftin and John Loftin, my daughters, Isabel Loftin, Abigail Loftin. Item: My son Thomas Loftin having already had of me sundry things now in his possession which my will is he shall keep forever. Item: I give to my son Thomas Loftin and to my wife the land whereon I now live to be equally divided between them, that is to say I give my wife one half during her natural life and after her decease to fall and go to my son Thomas Loftin and his heirs forever, and that half which I gave to him in the lifetime of his mother, I do also give to him and his heirs forever. And lastly, I do make my loving wife and my son Thomas my executors of this my last will, revoking all others heretoforemade. Witness my hand and seal the day and year first above written. Thomas Loftin (his mark) Witnesses: John Davis, Christopher Beelor, John Gordon At a court held for Frederick County on Tuesday 12 November 1751, this last will and testament of Thomas Loftin was proved in open court by the oaths of John Davis and Christopher Beelor who also swore they saw John Gordon sign the same as evidence; and Hellinor Loftin, the surviving executrix therein named having made oath to the same according to law. Admitted to record.
