Biography

Mary C. Webster, daughter of Seymour and Dorcus (Nichols) Webster, was born on 29 May 1845 at Hoosick, New York, USA. Her birth was recorded by the Troy-Pittstown Society of Friends.^[1] She and her parents appeared on the census of 27 Aug. 1850 in the household of her Dorcus's adoptive parents, Caleb Nichols and Elizabeth (Chase) Nichols, at Hoosick, Rensselaer Co., New York.^[2] She appeared on the census of 2 Aug. 1860 in the household of Caleb Nichols and Elizabeth (Chase) Nichols at Hoosick, Rensselaer Co., New York. ^[3]

She married John H. Haviland^[4] circa 1869.^[5]
