The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out a check-in to see how you are going in the project and especially to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles on WikiTree. We really value your participation.
Please could you get back to me by private message to let me know if you are happy with your current role and team involvement within the project or if you would like to do something additional or different. Currently we do not have you listed on a Project team. Could you let me know the team you would like to be a part of, the Australia Project page lists the Project teams, and minimum membership requirements.
It would also be great to hear any feedback and any suggestions that you have to improve the project. On a practical note, if you are a member of the google group, are you receiving messages ok? Also do you have Australia as one of the tags you are following on the G2G? Don't forget to add it in if you don't have that tag yet.
I'm following up my post on your profile about your interest in continuing as an active member of the Convicts and First Settlers Project (now included in the Australia Project). We really hope you would like to stay involved and look forward to hearing from you as soon as convenient.
The Australia Project page has the list of teams for your to review, as well as our minimal requirements for active membership. If you have decided that you don't have time to contribute at the moment, that is absolutely fine too, and you can rejoin whenever you wish.
Regards
Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project

Hi Lyn, very interesting. Some of my Cowans were mentioned in some family letter as having left for Australia. This would have been before 1832, when my Cowans set off from Selkirkshire to Ontario, Canada.
Can you link me to your Cowan profiles? Did they come from the Borders also?

Your G2G question has an answer and because of the question I thought I'd post it here for you - just in case...
Thank you Lyn for a good question. The answer may differ depending on the device you are using to access WIKITREE. I am on an Android phone , so I click on the question printed on the screen. If you are on a desktop computer, I think clicking on the question should pop up answers also. If you are trying to find older questions, try scrolling down. Now if you're interested in more specific details perhaps someone who is techy can help further. Good luck!

I'd be interested to learn about your Weston family history. That part of my tree is a complete dead-end beyond my grandmother.
All the best, Thom
