Biography
Aquilla Whitaker is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A124208.
Major Aquilla Whitaker was born in 1755. He was the son of John Whitaker and Mary McComas. He passed away in 1824 in Louisiana.
He served in a Company of Mounted Volunteers as a Major under Captain William Rodgers, and Commanded by Major General Charles Scott. July 14- to October 22, 1794. in the frontier of Kentucky.
Established Whitaker's Station in Bullitt Co., KY 1 Mar 1781.[[1]]
