Major Aquilla Whitaker was born in 1755. He was the son of John Whitaker and Mary McComas. He passed away in 1824 in Louisiana.
He served in a Company of Mounted Volunteers as a Major under Captain William Rodgers, and Commanded by Major General Charles Scott. July 14- to October 22, 1794. in the frontier of Kentucky.
