Rebecca was born in 1959 in Petersburg Virginia at Petersburg General Hospital. She grew up in the tiny farming community of Yale Virginia, attending private schools in the area, Graduating from a boarding school, Shenandoah Valley Academy in 1977. In 1981 she graduated from Kettering College of medical arts as a registered nurse. She primarily worked critical care and emergency nursing for most of her 40 years as a nurse. Kay,( she prefers to go by her middle name), is “mostly” retired from nursing and works with her brother Stephen on 25 acres in Yale,Virginia.
