I'll layout why I believe it to be true: 1. My dad's DNA connected him to the Lane family and me to one of Dad's 5-8 cousins who identified Eunice as having lived in Cincinnati & married in 1843. 2. My ggg-grandfather, John Arthurs Howard Crawford, was born in Cincinnati in 1847. He was given to John Anderson & Mary Gray Arthurs Crawford at a market in Cincinnati to watch by a young mother but she did not return. There are some more details to this part. 3. Anna, the first daughter of the Lynch's, is in the 1850 census living with grandparents in Ripley, OH. Edward and Eunice I cannot find. 4. Howard is not in any other known Crawford or Arthur family records. I think Eunice said his name was John Howard. 5. Eunice returned to Cincinnati with 2nd daughter. A few years later Edward joined them. 6. John A.H. Crawford married Margaret Fuchs, do Casper Fuchs. They named their first son, my g-grandfather, Edward Casper Crawford. I think Edward was born in the mid 1870s. Their 2nd son was named John Howard Crawford.
I would like to join a Lynch project while my father and his brother are still able, but not sure how to do that. I sent a message to the manager in FS but have had no response. What do you suggest? Thank you
Thanks for helping with Wikitree
Since you manage a number of Prentice profiles I invite you to check-out the new One Name Study for the Prentice surname. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Prentice_Name_Study

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group.
See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details.
The Teams are :-
Can you let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) youd like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.
Many thanks,

I was able to track down that 1870 Census in FamilySearch and it shows Eve was 3/12 in August of 1870 when the census was taken. This puts her as being born in May 1870, just one year off from what her DOB on her death cert shows. Gald we were able to solve this! Best, Patricia
Eva is also my great great grandmother. Sorry for the DOB mixup, but the 1870 Census you mention is not cleanly sourced in her profile to prove her DOB being before 1870. The later census dates do indicate a DOB before 1870, but nothing provides a solid date but the death certificate and obituary. Perhaps you could include a = Research Notes = section in the profile to explain this discrepancy and explain why these documents were in error? I was sad to see that your response was to lock the profile down to prevent others from helping rather than just correct it and let me know of the issue. Collaboration is a collaborative effort and I've enjoyed working on this line with you. Best, Patricia
At one time Leonard Barnes was listed as a son of Brinsley my immigrant. Research reveals this is not the case. He is a Revolutionary War patriot. If you care for him and are interested. I will make you the Profile Manager and remove myself.
