Advice before editing this pre-1700 Henry Walker profile?

Hi Patty Walker here. I have information to contribute to the profile of Henry Walker. This is what I can add:

I have a document that shows Henry Walker born abt 1698 and died 1742. They had 8 children starting with son John Walker born abt 1706.

These are the sources I am using:

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Hi, Patricia and welcome to WikiTree!  I took a look at the Walker family site and I did not see any documentation for the entry on Henry. Unless I missed something on the site, it should not be used as a source. If it does have primary sources buried somewhere, cite those sources rather than the website.

With pre-1700 profiles (anyone born before 1700) WikiTree strives to use primary source documentation which this family site does not quality as. This help page will help you with locating reliable sources for pre-1700 profiles.
