For those who have unique sources such as family bibles, its good to get them on-line somewhere for other researchers. You should scan or photograph the pages.
Then you could create a free-space profile (e.g. "Mckissack Family Bible"). Link that profile to one or more of the post-1700 family members. Post the photos to that profile.
Another way to get material on-line is to post it to the Internet Archive. Tag it with relevant surnames, etc., so it can be found by a search. Anyone can create a free account and upload files. Their stated mission is to preserve documents for posterity.
