Joseph Martin is PPP without a project manager [closed]

Question

General Joseph Martin has the Southern Colonies project box, but no project PM.  He is also a Notable. Can someone add the correct project manager, please.

Removing PPP & changing project box to sticker corrects the DBE, but I'm not sure that it was the best solution. As a notable, he maybe should be managed by a project - either US Southern Colonies or Virginia Project. And he might need to be PPP as well: looking at the Changes tab, I see edits about removing a profile for a spouse and notes about children.

I've submitted a request for the profile to be managed by the US Southern Colonies Project, saying (in part):

...I think this one might be better as a project-managed profile... if not by US Southern Colonies Project, then maybe Virginia Project?

Kathie - I've heard back from both projects. US Southern Colonies will take a look this week & I learned that the two projects base which is appropriate on the date of birth (using WikiTree's 4 July 1776 date for the end of the colonial period; Virginia Project covers folks born that date and later).

P.S. The recently re-launched US Southern Colonies Project is working its way through more than 3000 profiles that have the project box but not the project account. Hopefully by 2021, we'll have all of them sorted!

I am going to add the Southern Colonies Project as co-manager of this profile.  It is notable and some of the parent-child relationships seem to be uncertain and perhaps disputable.  It doesn't appear to me to be a contentious profile or subject to be changed as the result of dispute.  However, I would not be opposed to adding project protection if there is consensus that it is needed.

Thanks David. I think that since PPP now protects family relationships to some degree (see the [updated help page]), the uncertainty there qualifies the profile for PPP.

Do you want me to post this to his profile to send the comment to the project's Google Group?

I am a descendant of Joseph Martin.  I have been doing genetic genealogy for 5 years and am trying to add a child to the profile.  I can trace DNA matches through son, Alexander Lombard Martin.  This name is listed in the body of Joseph's profile.  There are extant documents including census info, marriage and family bible entries.  This profile has been in limbo for too long.  I would appreciate some assistance in the matter.
