I am 16 degrees from Priscilla Alden through an Adams/Van Skiver marriage connection. (Mother's side of the family)

Priscilla and I are 2nd Cousins, 13 times removed (Father's side of my family).  Common ancestor:Richard Bridger.

Family lore is that I am direct descendant of Priscilla- but so far I haven't found a direct link.  According to relationship finder its 13 degrees - not direct. My family has deep roots in SE Massachusetts (Plymouth Colony) and I still haven't flushed out all the connections.

Hello David, I am related to Priscilla Alden, she is my ninth great-grandmother. Im new to WikiTree and as I added more ancestors to my profile the family line finally connected. Im related through David Alden who had a daughter named Alice who married Judah Paddock. They had a daughter named Rebecca who married Thomas Spooner. They had a son named Jeduthan who was in the American Revolution. He married Hannah Crowell and they had a child named Thomas Spooner who married Birsha McIntosh. They had a child named Frances Elizabeth Spooner who married Ellery Bassett. They had a child named Waldo S Bassett who married Alice Clinton Medbury and they had a child named Harvey Waldo Bassett. He married Mable Frances Benedict and they had my grandmother Rae Arlene Bassett.
